Thank you for visiting the Alpha Alpha Sigma Omega Chapter website! We are one of five graduate chapters of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated, in gorgeous Prince George’s County, Maryland. We provide service in the rural tier of District 9 in Prince George's County which includes Accokeek, Andrews Air Force Base, Aquasco, Baden, Brandywine, Cheltenham, Clinton, Croom, Eagle Harbor, Piscataway, and Upper Marlboro. Alpha Alpha Sigma Omega chapter is pleased that we can bring a presence of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority within the rural areas of Prince George County. We have a desire to satisfy the need in District 9 and expand the service and great mission of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated.
We strive to serve our communities in excellence. We value the partnerships that we have developed since our inception and we look to partner with other similarly focused organizations. In the years to come, we will focus on increased monitoring of the impact and progress of our programs, strengthen relationships with our program partners and engage in more external partnerships.
For members of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated® looking to reactivate or transfer, we welcome you! We will inspire you to rededicate yourself to our great sisterhood. Every member is great because every member can serve! There is plenty of service to be done and your help is welcomed. We honor our mission of providing service to all mankind and we support each other for we know there is no other like our sisterhood.
The sorority is currently under the leadership of our esteemed 32nd International President and CEO, Ms. Charletta Wilson Jacks, whose leadership embraces the power of intergenerational sisterhood, global engagement, and community-centered solutions designed to create measurable and sustainable impact. Through her administration theme—Championing Service. Empowering Sisterhood. Transforming the World.—she calls members to not only honor the organization’s rich legacy, but to actively shape its future through bold leadership, meaningful partnerships, and transformational service.
